We will make sure that we move your home and your valuables with the utmost care. Our staff have been trained and are equipped with the skills to move even the most fragile of your belongings. We will assemble, disassemble, pack, wrap and place all items safely and securely, whatever it takes to make sure that there is no opportunity for even the slightest damage to your valuables.
We can disassemble heavier items to move them more safely and efficiently. Our movers can move your furniture safely from tight corners, spiral cases, narrow doorways and even balconies.

For local moves within Auckland, Moving Auckland charges an hourly price that includes a truck as well as all of our moving equipment and supplies to help protect your valuables. The following are supplies and equipment included in our hourly rate; Moving blankets, dollies, shrink wrap, bubblewrap, assembling and disassembling equipment and floor runners. The hourly rate we provide will be based on the season and availability. For long distance moves we include the same supplies in our hourly rate however, you may be charged a truck fee depending on the distance of your move.
All of this information including the rate you have been offered will be mentioned in our quotation and booking confirmation sent you via email, prior to your move taking place.
For payment, we accept internet transfer and cash. You will also be provided with an invoice for your move.
Our movers specialize in packing furniture for protection from damages. Each piece of your furniture will be wrapped individually with commercial moving blankets. The movers will then add shrink wrap as an additional layer of protection to ensure moving blankets are secured and stay in place during the duration of the move. The movers will also add a layer of bubble wrap for fragile and delicate items. Most large pieces of furniture will be disassembled for safer and better loading in our trucks
Ideally, YES. This is because the weight of the things inside the furniture may make it difficult and unsafe to move. Likewise, if the contents are fragile, they may break during the moving process. However, in some instances wherein the things inside your drawers or dressers are not heavy and will not break or shift (i.e. clothing), the movers may allow them to stay inside.
Can I disassemble my furniture before my move?
You may disassemble your belongings if you would like. However, this is not required to. Our movers are experts at disassembling and reassembling furniture. They will have all tools required for this service on hand. Assembling and disassembling services as well as the tools are included in our hourly rate, no additional charge will apply.
